Multispectral mapping and remote sensing

Precision Surveys and Aerial Applications

At AuditAir, we turn aviation data into decisions, not "pretty pictures."

We combine RTK geodetic accuracy, multispectral imaging, and AI (artificial intelligence) analysis so that you can immediately see where the problem is, how big it is, and what to do about it - in the field, on construction sites, in the field, and in the landscape.

Aerial photography

A current view of reality that reveals connections

Aerial photography is a quick way to get an accurate and up-to-date picture of what is actually in the area. It is a service very close to mapping - the difference is that the priority is overview, control and understanding of the complexity of the place (not always a complete geodetic mapping package). It is ideal when you need to quickly find out "what it looks like there today" and make decisions based on facts, not feelings.

Depending on the industry and objective, we can process data from a simple overview to outputs ready for further technical steps. In practice, this approach is also used for regular repeated flights - so that you have control over the development of the situation (construction, intervention, damage, change over time).

  • Current status without assumptions: what is where, to what extent and in what condition

  • Quickly orientate yourself in a location: for large and complex areas where a walking tour is not enough

  • Checking changes over time: "before / after", progress of work, damage from wind or water, interventions in the landscape (very practical in Slovakia)

  • Better communication within the team: everyone is looking at the same data – even remotely, even across multiple suppliers

  • Seamless transition to mapping: if higher accuracy is needed, we will establish RTK/GCP and detailed processing (without changing the process on your side)

Outputs: visual report, orthophoto preview "like a current satellite map, only much more accurate and fresh", 3D preview / digital twin, area and volume measurements, sections, DTM/DSM, GIS layers and custom thematic maps - prepared so that they can be used immediately in practice, not "put away in a drawer"

Multispectral
survey

See the health of the crop before the eye can see it. Multispectral imaging will show the true state of vegetation based on how plants reflect different wavelengths of light. In practice, it’s simple: we create a color “health map” of the field that shows where the crop is strong and where something is starting to happen – often before you can see it with a routine inspection or tractor drive.

We calculate indices such as NDVI, NDRE, OSAVI, VARI, and GNDVI from the same data. There's no need to be afraid of them - they're just different "views" of the vegetation:

  • NDVI = base map of vitality (where it grows well / where it lags)

  • NDRE = more sensitive to early stress in denser stands

  • OSAVI / VARI / GNDVI = additional specification according to crop, growth phase and field conditions

Multispectral maps help you find weak spots, weeds, uneven emergence, drought/waterlogging, or incipient diseases. The biggest advantage is that you no longer walk "blindly" - the map will show you exactly where to check, where to take a sample, and where it makes sense to intervene.

To ensure reliable results, we always support the interpretation with a field inspection (and soil tests if necessary). This way you not only get a map, but also a clear explanation of what it means for your decisions. With stricter rules for chemistry, early diagnosis will be increasingly important - so that targeted action can be taken at lower costs.

Outputs: color maps of vitality, vegetation zoning, comparison over time, marked locations for field inspection and data for targeted interventions (also in GIS as needed).

Multispektrálne

data evaluation
artificial intelligence

Captured data is only valuable when it is properly evaluated. At AuditAir, we use AI tools that process large amounts of aerial data and help you gain a clear overview of what is really happening in the area - in fields, forests, and open countryside.

It's not about complex analysis. It's about seeing the problem at the right time, in the right place, and at the right scale. Each output is geotagged (tied to a precise location) and based on sub-centimeter-per-pixel (GSD) resolution data, making subtle changes that are easy to miss in the field visible.

  • Agriculture: weeds, stressed areas, uneven emergence, animal damage, control zones

  • Forestry: weakened trees, damaged parts of the stand, changes after wind or drought

  • Landscape: water corridors, waterlogged areas, erosion sites and changes in the territory

  • Measurable results: we can accurately determine areas, numbers, shares and compare the status over time

In orchards and vineyards, we can use AI to count trees or trunks and highlight areas with reduced vitality. In forests and landscapes, we can quickly show changes that would otherwise require extensive field surveys.

By analyzing every square inch of the area, algorithms create clear maps that clearly show where it's worth looking closer and where to take action. The results are prepared in a way that experts can easily use in their further decision-making.

Outputs: geotagged thematic maps and GIS layers in sub-cm resolution, quantifications (areas, numbers), comparison over time and clear reports for further professional use.

Aerial application with drones

Applications with the DJI T50 and T100 drone

Drone application is not “just spraying from above”. It is an aerial activity with a direct impact on people, property, the environment and your bottom line. That is why it is crucial that it is carried out by a professional with the right permissions, experience and set procedures. At AuditAir, we approach applications as a controlled technical process: before the flight, we evaluate the conditions (wind, temperature, drift, the surroundings of the plot), set safe zones and a flight plan, work with precise navigation and documentation of the work. In practice, this means that the application is accurate, repeatable and defensible – even during a possible inspection.

Why certificates and legal procedures matter

EU rules (EASA) today distinguish where and how you can fly, with what risk and under what conditions. A1/A3 and A2 set limits for safe flying in different environments and distances, STS (standard scenarios) address higher risk operations with specific procedures and requirements. In practical applications, there are often situations where without the right authorizations and processes you simply have no “coverage”.

Equally important are the applicator's authorizations and professional procedures to ensure that the activity is carried out correctly in terms of the use of products, application conditions, protection zones and current restrictions. It is not just about legislation - it is about ensuring that the intervention is carried out effectively, without unnecessary losses and without risk to the environment.

What a professional application will really bring you

  • Security and compliance – correct categories, procedures, documentation, respecting restrictions.

  • Accuracy of intervention – application where needed and in the dose according to the assignment (also zonal).

  • Lower risk of drift and damage – check conditions, correct height, speed, route and surroundings.

  • Demonstrable record of work – clear documentation of where and how it was applied.

If you want drone application to be a benefit and not a risk, it must be done professionally, legally, and under control. In the following sections, we will show how the application process works, what documents we need from you, and what outputs you will receive.

And now for the “elephant in the room” – do we have a spray drone?

Yes, we use the DJI Agras T50 in our fleet and have all the necessary authorizations to operate it: A1/A3, A2, STS, permission from the Traffic Inspectorate, and completed Modules 1, 2, and 3 for applicators, and so on.

However, this does not automatically mean that we can carry out any spraying - we must also strictly comply with the legislation, fly only in permitted modes and apply only those preparations whose label explicitly permits use by drones. Other reputable entities in Slovakia communicate similarly, we all emphasize that although the technology is ready, the scope of its use is bound by strict regulatory rules and permits.

Nevertheless, the T50 has immediate use in spreading granules, for localized interventions in difficult-to-reach terrain, for precise dosing of nutrients or biological products, and for working in places where a tractor would cause soil compaction or damage to vegetation.

Thanks to its high load capacity, stability and high performance, the drone can carry out interventions quickly, evenly and with minimal losses. Modern autonomous functions allow you to work according to a zone map, which significantly reduces the consumption of preparations and increases the effectiveness of the intervention. The result is a safer, more targeted and gentler form of application that complements traditional procedures and prepares farms for upcoming regulatory changes and the future mass expansion of drone agrotechnology.

Why AuditAir?

At AuditAir, we cover the entire process – from data collection to field implementation. We combine RGB visual survey, multispectral analysis, AI evaluation and then we can follow up on these findings with precise drone application according to the assignment and conditions. The result is clear and usable data: where the problem is, what its scope is, how it develops over time – and when necessary, a quick transition from information to action. We work with an emphasis on clear outputs, repeatability, safety and legislatively correct performance, so that data and interventions bring measurable value in practice.
